Designed by Farnan Findlay Architects, this highly detailed project involves the transformation of an existing heritage-listed residence in Newtown, combining restoration with a bold, contemporary extension. The build includes a full basement construction, a two-storey addition and extensive internal reconfiguration to create a refined, modern layout while respecting the home’s original character. Inside, timber finishes are a key design feature, bringing warmth and texture to the interiors and complementing the architectural detailing. Balancing heritage sensitivity, structural complexity and premium craftsmanship, this project showcases North’s capability to deliver high-performance, design-driven builds on technically challenging sites.
